This is an absolutely thorough book about heart disease. The
chapter on Heat Fields and Cardiac Morphogenesis discusses the role of progenitor
cells and embryonic myocardium. Accompanied by excellent diagrams, we learn
about genome editing, and then how bioengineering can create replacement heart
valves. Genetic heart muscle disorders, aneurisms, and obstructions are all
covered here. Once again, we have a great book from Cold Spring Harbor
Laboratories Press.
